Andritz Hydropower in Weiz sucht einen CORE COMPONENT DESIGNER (m/f/d) für den REM-Forschungs- und Entwicklungsbereich. Sie arbeiten in einem internationalen Team an Bauteilen von REM-Generatoren, erstellen präzise 3D-Modelle und Fertigungszeichnungen und unterstützen Berechnungen.

Sie verfügen über eine technische Ausbildung (HTL/FH/Uni) im Maschinenbau, gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse, und Bereitschaft zur Reise (~5%).

Qualifikationen

• Technische Ausbildung im Maschinenbau (HTL/FH/Uni).
• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.
• Bereitschaft zu Reisen (ca. 5%).
• Teamfähigkeit und gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten.

Aufgaben

• Als 3D-CAD-Designer maßgeblich an REM-Bauteilen arbeiten.
• Aktive Teile entwerfen, MAG/elektrische Felder berücksichtigen.
• Präzise Geometrie zur Unterstützung numerischer Simulationen erstellen.
• Hohe Qualität von 3D-Modellen, Zeichnungen und BOM liefern.
• Zusammenarbeit mit R&D, Fertigung, Montage und Inbetriebnahme.
• Beiträge zur Weiterentwicklung von Designstandards leisten.

We are currently seeking a CORE COMPONENT DESIGNER (m/f/d) in the rotating electrical machines (REM) R&D department at our site in Weiz, on a full-time basis.

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, Uni, or similar) in mechanical engineering
• Relevant professional experience
• Design and mechanical calculation knowledge in the field of large rotating electrical machines obligatory
• Good knowledge in 3D CAD – preferably Software Siemens NX, PLM – Software Siemens Teamcenter and MS Office
• Good command of German and English
• Willingness to travel (5%)
• Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills

YOUR TASKS

• Act as a key 3D CAD designer for core components of REM including generators, working closely within interdisciplinary R&D teams
• Design, develop and optimize active parts (magnetic and electric field–relevant components), including salient poles, high voltage bar windings and stator/rotor cores based on engineering input from electromagnetic, insulation, mechanical and ventilation experts
• Create precise geometry models to support advanced numerical simulations (CFD/CHT and FE) performed by calculation engineers
• Prepare high quality 3D models, technical drawings and complete Bill of Materials (BOM) for components used in development projects, prototypes and test rigs
• Collaborate closely with teams across R&D, engineering, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning to ensure robust, manufacturable and well-integrated component designs
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design standards, methods and tools

OUR OFFER

We are legally obliged to state the collective bargaining minimum salary for this position, which is gross € 3.716,96 per month. However, we offer a market-based salary depending on qualifications and professional experience in any case.
