Formación

• University degree in civil engineering, architecture with technology focus, or equivalent.
• Strong preference for leadership experience in engineering teams.
• Experience in planning and implementing industrial, infrastructure or site development projects.
• Systems thinking with good understanding of interfaces across disciplines.
• Knowledge of modern integral planning methods (e.g. BIM) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical thinking and ability to manage quality, costs and schedule.

Tasks & responsibilities

• You will lead the Surface Facility Team within the Planning & Realisation Department
• You will coordinate your team’s various contributions to the integral planning of the Terradura project, thereby ensuring well-coordinated interfaces, efficient collaboration and the optimal use of resources
• You will be responsible for technical quality assurance and will play an active role in both project management and technical issues
• You will be responsible for planning the surface facility, with a focus on structures, site development and foundation
• You will commission and lead external partners and work with them to develop planning outcomes that meet the requirements of the respective project phase
• You will ensure that the results are documented in a transparent, comprehensive and stage-appropriate manner, thereby laying an important foundation for internal decision-making
• You will confidently present your technical expertise and results to the authorities, national and international experts, and other stakeholders.
• You will establish and maintain a strong network of national and international experts within the technical community

Profile & requirements

• A successfully completed degree in civil engineering, architecture with a focus on technology, or a comparable discipline
• An optimistic and motivating individual who enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration and pragmatic solutions
• Several years of management experience, ideally in leading an engineering team
• Experience in the planning and implementation of industrial, infrastructure or site development projects
• A systems mindset and a strong understanding of interdisciplinary connections and interfaces
• Knowledge of modern integral planning methods (e.g. BIM) is a plus
• Pronounced awareness of quality, costs and time as well as the strong ability to think analytically
• Excellent communication skills and a confident command of German and English
