Job summary

South Offices is seeking an experienced accounting professional to provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries. The ideal candidate has strong accounting and tax expertise, and can independently investigate and resolve issues, communicating findings clearly via Zendesk, email, and phone support.

Coverage requires 8:00 AM–8:00 PM ET with shifts overlapping US business hours, and comfort working in a fast-paced, technology-driven

Qualifications

Professional accounting experience, ideally US accounting/tax exposure.
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, tax return review, reconciliations, payroll, financial reporting.
Experience handling complex tax inquiries, notices, and customer-facing financial support.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations, and transactions.
Explain complex topics to nontechnical customers clearly and professionally.
