J.P. Morgan is seeking an Associate Counsel in Argentina to support the US Filings and CST teams. You will provide day-to-day legal guidance on U.S.-based bank products, prepare client letters, and escalate higher-risk matters to designated counsel.

Formación

• Licensed lawyer with 2+ years of practice.
• Experience providing legal support within attorney-approved guidance and templates, with escalation of novel, material, or higher-risk matters.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to follow defined processes and identify issues requiring escalation or special attention.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• End-to-end ownership mindset with strong follow-up and results orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to leverage AI-driven tools and insights to interpret data, identify trends, and drive process improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as day-to-day legal support point for bankers and client service teams on U.S.-based bank products and services.
• Advise bankers, client service associates, and internal stakeholders on CIB products and processes, including process-exception matters.
• Prepare, review, and issue client-facing letters and responses using attorney-approved templates.
• Elevate novel, material, or higher-risk questions to designated counsel per protocols.
• Support governance and state filings execution, providing legal analysis and advice on state qualification and governance matters.
• Prepare and submit annual reports and event-based filings across U.S. jurisdictions for compliance.
• Perform corporate filings with the 50 U.S. state secretaries of state for JPMorganChase subsidiaries.
• Manage projects related to legal entities, data analysis, and process improvements with internal teams.
