J.P. Morgan is seeking an Associate Counsel in Argentina to support the US Filings team (USFT) and CST.

The role provides day‑to‑day legal support on U.S.-based bank products and services, following attorney‑approved guidance, playbooks, and templates while escalating novel or higher‑risk matters to designated counsel. You will assist with state filings, franchise tax, and governance matters, coordinating with Corporate Secretaries, Corporate Tax, and filings vendors to ensure timely execution

Formación

• Licensed lawyer with 2+ years of practice.
• Experience providing legal support within attorney-approved guidance and templates, with escalation of higher‑risk matters.
• Strong attention to detail, able to prioritize, organize work, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to follow defined processes and escalate issues when needed.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• End-to-end ownership mindset with proactive follow-up.

Responsabilidades

• Advise bankers and internal stakeholders on U.S.-based products and processes using approved guidance and templates.
• Prepare, review, and issue client-facing letters using templates.
• Elevate novel or higher-risk questions to designated counsel.
• Support governance and state filings execution across U.S. jurisdictions.
• Prepare and submit annual reports and event-based filings for JPMorganChase subsidiaries.
• Perform corporate filings with U.S. state Secretaries of State and handle inquiries.
