Job summary

J.P. Morgan invites applications for the Trading Services Associate role based in Buenos Aires. You will understand trading structures, capture transactions in risk management systems, and perform reconciliations.

Collaborate with Operations, ensure controls are completed, and support strategic initiatives while developing deep knowledge of derivatives and front-to-back processes.

Strong communication, analytical and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Understand derivatives and hedging products (FRAs, FX, swaps, bonds)
• Know front-to-back Operations processes including confirmations and settlements
• Communicate clearly and collaborate across teams
• Attention to detail and strong numerical abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; project management ability
• Excel proficiency; VBA is a plus

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate capture of all transactions in the Risk Management Systems
• Complete intraday / end of day processes including reconciliation checks to ensure capture of new trading activity and general book management has been processed accurately
• Work closely with Operations functions and infrastructure groups to support a 'one team approach'
• Ensure all controls are diligently performed, completed, and signed off on a timely basis
• Clear and concise communication with all support teams to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of queries
• Participate and contribute to the various strategic initiatives; keep improving and evolving processes and business architecture
• Build an in-depth understanding of all trading structures from both a financial and operational perspective
