Job summary

Conexionhr is seeking a highly technical Product Manager (API & Integrations Focus) to lead strategy and delivery of Content Intelligence for a global media platform. You will work on metadata, taxonomies, semantic search, vectorization, and multimodal enrichment across text, image, audio, and video content.

Job description

The position leads the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of “Content Intelligence” capabilities for a global media platform.
The role focuses on metadata, taxonomies, semantic search, vectorization, knowledge graphs, and multimodal enrichment across text, image, audio, and video content.
We are looking for a highly technical Product Manager with strong hands-on knowledge of APIs and API integrations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with engineering teams. The ideal candidate should be comfortable participating in detailed technical discussions, understanding integration challenges, and translating business requirements into clear technical product requirements.
This role requires a Product Manager who can go beyond roadmap management and actively collaborate with engineering on API-related product decisions, technical requirements, and integration delivery.

Must Have

• 7+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, platform delivery, or content/data technology.
• Strong hands-on experience with APIs and API integrations, including practical involvement in API-driven products or platform integrations.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, JSON, endpoints, and error handling.
• Ability to engage in detailed technical discussions with engineering teams, understand technical trade-offs, and collaborate on integration-related decisions.
• Proven experience working closely with software engineering teams throughout product development and delivery.
• Fluent English and excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and collaborate with international teams.
• Experience leading metadata, taxonomy, search, AI, or content intelligence products.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms, and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with semantic search, embeddings, vector databases, and multimodal AI.
• Experience with CMS, publishing platforms, or media asset management systems.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Availability to support US business hours.

• Experience in media, publishing, AdTech, or AI platforms.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or FinTech environments.
