Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Governance Associate in Risk Management & Compliance to support governance activities and oversight of risk processes across new product programs. You will work with stakeholders to strengthen transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Role requires deep knowledge of risk concepts, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects while delivering accurate governance documentation and timely

Qualifications

• 4+ years in financial services or a related field with risk/compliance exposure.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present to senior stakeholders.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; familiar with AI/LLM capabilities.
• Organized with strong project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support governance of operating models for risk engagement in new product assessments.
• Maintain governance docs and provide stakeholder training as needed.
• Engage with firmwide and business-level governance forums and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve processes.
• Prepare materials for governance meetings and assist in North America risk activities.
• Contribute to risk governance projects and regulatory responses.
