Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Legal Operations Associate to support the NAMR, EMEA, and LATAM regions in maintaining corporate governance standards and regulatory compliance. The role coordinates with regional stakeholders to prepare reporting and ensure timely filings across regions.

The candidate will assist with governance technology projects to optimize processes and data quality, collaborating with Legal, Finance, Compliance, and Tax teams to deliver accurate metrics for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law; knowledge of corporate governance desirable.
• 2–3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, filings, or statutory reporting.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments and corporate governance obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Exceptional English-language skills with attention to detail and formatting.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with strong formulas and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Corporate Governance Oversight across NAMR, EMEA and/or LATAM.
• Oversee coordination and submission of regulatory filings, such as financial statements and annual returns.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Compliance, and Tax to compile filings.
• Prepare and deliver periodic reports on filing statuses and compliance metrics to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Partner with technology to automate and streamline reports, processes, and workflows; improve data quality.
