GoFundMe in Buenos Aires, Argentina is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for the Payments organization on the Payouts team. This hybrid role focuses on ledgering money movement, disbursement, and in-house payments capabilities, with leadership across the end-to-end product lifecycle.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, and drive projects from ideation to production, ensuring scalable, compliant payment flows for billions in transactions.

Formación

• 8+ years of relevant experience in payments/financial systems.
• Experience architecting services for scalability and reliability.
• Strong track record leading projects from conception to delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Refine and execute multi-year payments strategy.
• Design end-to-end payout solutions from ideation to launch.
• Collaborate with engineers, PM, designers and partners to build payments infrastructure.
• Own technical decisions across ledgering, money movement and disbursement.
• Mentor engineers and drive code quality and best practices.
• Lead projects end-to-end and communicate progress to stakeholders.
