GoFundMe seeks a Senior Software Engineer for the Payments organization on the Payouts team. You will lead design and implementation of ledgering, money movement and payout infrastructure, collaborating across engineers, product managers, designers, and external partners.

You are a seasoned engineer with 5+ years in payments systems, able to architect scalable services, mentor teammates, and balance technical trade-offs with business needs in a hybrid role in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in payment systems (Checkout/Payment methods, Payouts, Ledgering, Reconciliation, Interchange, KYC/Onboarding).
• Experience architecting services using scalable design patterns to enable future growth.
• Proven ability to lead projects from conception to delivery and mentor engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Refine and execute multi-year payments strategy to grow giving and bring core payments in-house.
• Design and implement end-to-end payout solutions from ideation to launch and iteration.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, design and external partners to build next-generation payments infrastructure.
• Own critical technical decisions across ledgering, money movement and disbursement, anticipating future use cases.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and pair programming, driving improvements to the codebase.
