Grupo QuintoAndar is seeking a Staff Software Engineer in Argentina. You will own the technical strategy and architectural roadmap for large-scale, high-concurrency products, acting as a premier technical anchor across the engineering organization.

The role emphasizes leadership, cross-team influence, and the ability to navigate complex architectural challenges while maintaining high software quality in a remote-first, hybrid environment.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in software development and distributed systems.
• Deep knowledge of modern software architecture paradigms and data consistency.
• Ability to analyze engineering trade-offs concretely (simplicity vs flexibility, velocity vs reliability, build vs buy).
• Demonstrated capability to remove barriers to collaboration, conduct difficult structural conversations smoothly, build strategic roadmaps, and foster an inclusive engineering culture.
• Experience designing systems that cross team boundaries and remain maintainable as teams and products scale.
• Fluency in Spanish and excellent English skills (verbal and written) are mandatory, as we use English daily for code, architecture documentation, and global alignment.

Responsabilidades

• Architectural direction & strategy: Set the core architectural direction for complex platform scopes and define the technical roadmap.
• Simplifying complex challenges: Break down vague problems into execution-ready scope with clear interfaces.
• Engineering excellence & trade-off ownership: Drive engineering standards and best practices across domains.
• Team influence & mentorship: Provide senior technical assessments and mentor senior engineers.
• Guard the tech bar: Lead interview process for senior and principal technical roles.
