AgileEngine in the United States is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to run a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds, focusing on automation, tooling, and incident response. You will maintain platform reliability, implement observability, onboard new clients, and build tooling to reduce manual work while scaling with demand.

Strong Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Kubernetes production experience.
• Strong Linux and CLI fundamentals.
• Experience with a public cloud (Azure or AWS).
• English level at upper-intermediate.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private clouds.
• Leverage observability tooling to ensure actionable alerts with up-to-date runbooks.
• Manage incidents end-to-end, including RCA and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients on the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual effort and improve performance.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components current.
• Proactively manage capacity to scale the platform with demand.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private cloud environments, including automation, tooling, and incident management.

MUST HAVES

• Hands-on experience of at least 4 years operating Kubernetes in production, ideally with Service Mesh.
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.
• Confident debugging and troubleshooting complex systems, from the application layer through to lower-level infrastructure.
• Experience working with a public cloud provider, preferably Azure or AWS.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Working knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, Loki and Tempo is a plus.
• Scripting or coding in Python or Java is a strong plus.
• CI/CD, infrastructure as code such as Helm or Terraform is a plus.
• Financial services background is not required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
