N-iX is a global software engineering and technology services company. We are seeking a Spanish-speaking Data Architect to lead cloud data platform design for clients, owning end-to-end target architecture and guiding engineering teams.

The role blends hands-on leadership with consulting, including pre-sales, discovery workshops, and architecture quality accountability. You will design lakehouse and data warehouse patterns, lead migrations to the cloud, and mentor data engineers, delivering

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering or data platforms.
• 3+ years as a Data or Solution Architect.
• Hands-on production experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks (at least one in depth).
• Strong knowledge of Azure and/or AWS data services (Azure: ADLS Gen2 etc.; AWS: S3, Glue, Redshift).
• Expert SQL and solid Python or Scala; experience with Spark.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data architectures on Snowflake/Databricks on Azure/AWS.
• Lead migrations from on-prem to cloud with roadmaps and cutover plans.
• Set standards for data modelling, pipelines, CI/CD and IaC.
• Design data governance, security and compliance incl. GDPR and LATAM laws.
• Mentor data engineers and run architecture reviews with clients (Spanish/English).
• Support pre-sales with solution design and proposals.
