Cowboy Space Corp. is seeking a DSP Software Engineer to design, implement, and optimize real-time signal processing software for space-based communications and sensing systems.

You will develop high-performance C/C++ for embedded flight systems and collaborate with FPGA, RF, and avionics teams to ensure robust operation in challenging environments. The role requires strong DSP fundamentals, Linux development experience, and proficiency in Python or MATLAB for validation.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional DSP software development experience.
• Strong C/C++ programming for embedded and real-time systems.
• Experience with Linux-based development environments.
• Experience with Python or MATLAB for development/validation.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and optimize real-time DSP algorithms for flight systems.
• Implement high-performance C/C++ software for embedded and real-time applications.
• Develop algorithms for filtering, modulation, demodulation, synchronization, channel estimation.
• Collaborate with FPGA, RF, avionics, and systems engineers to integrate DSP into hardware.
• Validate algorithms using simulation, laboratory testing, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments.
• Develop test frameworks using Python or MATLAB.
