Pyyne Llc. is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with 2-5 years of Python experience to work remotely from Brazil or Argentina on a custom AI intelligence tool for a US-based client.

You will collaborate with a senior engineer, take ownership of well-scoped tasks, and deliver small, visible increments while communicating proactively. The role emphasizes shifting AI-powered solutions, with responsibilities spanning Python feature work, API development, testing, and deployment support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience with Python.
• Async Python (asyncio) experience and building REST APIs (FastAPI or similar).
• SQL skills with PostgreSQL and ORM (SQLAlchemy), including schema migrations.
• Experience writing automated tests (pytest). Comfortable with Git.
• Ability to work independently on well-scoped tasks and ask for help when needed.
• Clear, proactive communication and a delivery mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve Python features and services for a custom AI intelligence solution.
• Collaborate daily with a senior engineer on architecture and technical direction.
• Ship small, well-tested changes on a regular cadence and make progress visible to the team and client.
• Take part in frequent syncs and proactively share status updates, risks, and blockers.
• Adapt quickly as client priorities change.
• Support LLM and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) components as needed.

Job Summary

Pyyne is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in Python to work remotely from Brazil or Argentina on a custom AI intelligence tool for a US-based client. This is a high-impact role for Pyyne as we find new ways to engineer thoughtful, AI-powered solutions.

A successful candidate in this role will work alongside a senior engineer, take ownership of well-scoped work with some autonomy, and keep the client regularly informed by shipping small, visible increments and communicating proactively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve Python features and services for a custom AI intelligence solution.
• Collaborate day to day with a senior engineer who built his solution, with their guidance on architecture and technical direction.
• Ship small, well-tested changes on a regular cadence and make progress visible to the team and the client.
• Take part in frequent syncs and proactively share status updates, risks, and blockers.
• Adapt quickly as client priorities change.
• Support the LLM and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) components of the solution as the work requires.

Must Have Skills:

• 2+ years of professional experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with async Python (asyncio) and building REST APIs (FastAPI or similar).
• Solid SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL and an ORM (e.g., SQLAlchemy), including schema migrations.
• Experience writing automated tests (pytest).Comfortable with Git.
• Ability to work independently on well-scoped tasks and ask for help when needed.
• Clear, proactive communication and a delivery mindset: you ship small things regularly and make progress visible.
• Highly fluent English, written and spoken.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with LLMs and RAG (embeddings, vector search, reranking, prompt design), including from personal projects.
• Familiarity with pgvector or other vector databases.
• Comfortable with Docker and deploying to a cloud provider (AWS preferred).
• Experience with message queues and background workers (e.g., SQS).
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform).
