Intellectsoft is seeking a senior Shopify engineer to lead development for large-scale e-commerce projects. You will design, implement, and optimize Shopify features using Liquid, Online Store 2.0, and modern front-end tech.

You’ll work on headless configurations with Next.js or Hydrogen, integrate APIs, and improve performance, SEO, and accessibility. You will collaborate with Design, Content, and Growth teams, implement automated tests, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional web development experience with at least 5 years on Shopify
• Expert-level proficiency in Liquid, Online Store 2.0, sections/blocks, metafields, theme app extensions, and Shopify CLI
• Deep knowledge of Shopify Storefront API, Admin API (GraphQL), App Bridge, webhooks, and app integrations
• Proven track record launching large-scale, high-traffic Shopify stores with complex flows
• Experience with headless Shopify using Hydrogen/Remix or Next.js, edge rendering and caching strategies
• Proficient in React, Node.js, serverless (Cloudflare/AWS), GraphQL tooling
• Strong HTML/CSS/JS/TypeScript, and performance optimization
• Git/GitHub workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD processes

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain components of our online presence using Liquid, JSON, HTML/CSS, and TypeScript
• Engineer complex Shopify features including checkout, cart, and pricing with Shopify Functions
• Improve performance and SEO by optimizing Core Web Vitals, CDN, lazy loading, and structured data
• Set up Shopify Markets including domains, currencies, duties, translations, and price lists
• Implement automated testing using Playwright/Cypress and Jest; set up CI/CD pipelines
• Define performance budgets and monitoring to ensure quality and reliability
• Deliver accessible experiences conforming to WCAG with keyboard navigation and ARIA attributes
• Collaborate with Design, Content, and Growth teams; mentor junior engineers
• Monitor production metrics and analyze funnels using GA4, GTM, and Search Console to improve CVR/AOV
