Ciena is seeking an Analyst, Renewal Services Quoting to drive accurate, data-driven maintenance and renewal quotations. You will collaborate across global teams to identify opportunities, improve quoting processes, and ensure proposals meet guidelines.

The role emphasizes documentation quality, data accuracy, and strong communication across functions to support customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

How you will make an impact:

• Collaborate with geographically diverse teams to deliver services quotations within defined timelines.
• Analyze customer installed base data, service support metrics, and account inputs to develop quote packages aligned with commercial guidelines.
• Identify up-sell opportunities and present available service options that address customer requirements.
• Create and manage maintenance proposal collateral and maintain accurate documentation repositories.
• Evaluate current quoting tools and processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Identify customer inventory true-up opportunities that enhance maintenance revenue.
• Ensure services quotations align with Opportunity Management Process (OMP) guidelines.

The must haves:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in services quoting or a related role, preferably within the telecommunications or networking industry.
• Application of data analysis to develop accurate and competitive service quotations.
• Attention to documentation quality and data accuracy in quotation development.
• Utilization of verbal and written communication skills in cross-functional and customer-facing interactions.
• Demonstrated collaboration with stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels.
• Application of organizational and prioritization skills in deadline-driven environments.

Nice to haves:

• Education: MBA OR Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in a business planning, pricing, or metric-type costing environment.
