Job summary

Fluor in Argentina is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support substation and line construction on large mining and energy projects. The role requires translating design documents into actionable construction guidance and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

You will collaborate with construction managers, engineers, and field teams to maintain project schedules, coordinate permits, and manage technical risk.

Qualifications

• Requires electrical engineer degree and ten years of experience in substation and line construction.
• Proven High Voltage experience in mining projects.
• Knowledge of applicable local, state/provincial, and national statutes and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision on construction-related issues from drawings.
• Provide technical interpretation of design documents for project managers and contractors.
• Maintain effective communication between design engineers and construction teams to ensure timely flow of information.
• Coordinate preparation and implementation of the project quality program when required by construction.
• Additional duties as assigned.
