Job summary

Fluor is seeking a seasoned Construction Engineer to support large stand‑alone projects and multiple disciplines on smaller projects in Argentina. The role focuses on construction engineering, technical interpretation of design, and ensuring quality and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings electrical engineering expertise, 10 years in substation and line construction, and proven HV experience in mining environments.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineer with 10 years in substation and line construction.
• HV high voltage experience in mining projects.
• Ability to learn and apply local, state/provincial, and national statutes and guidelines.
• Detail-oriented and time-conscious in planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with construction-related issues identified on drawings.
• Provide technical interpretation of design documents for construction managers and contractors.
• Establish and maintain effective communication between the company and the design engineer for timely flow of design documents.
• Coordinate preparation and implementation of the project quality program when the quality function is the responsibility of the construction engineering department.
• Other duties as assigned
