Job summary

Fluor seeks an Electrical Engineer for San Juan, Argentina, to support high‑voltage construction and quality on mining projects. You will work with construction teams to interpret design documents and ensure the project meets scope and standards.

Requirements include 10 years of HV substations/line construction experience, strong problem solving, and bilingual English/Spanish communication. Travel and site work are expected.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineer degree and ten (10) years of work-related experience in substation and Line construction.
• High Voltage experience in mining projects.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with regard to construction-related issues identified on drawings.
• Provide technical interpretation of design documents for construction managers, superintendents, and contractors.
• Establish and maintain effective communication to ensure timely flow of design documents and information.
• Coordinate the preparation and implementation of the project quality program within construction engineering.
