Job summary

AgileEngine seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private cloud environments, including automation, tooling, and incident management.

You will maintain production Kubernetes, work with observability tooling, manage end-to-end incidents, onboard new clients, and build automation to reduce manual effort while ensuring scalable performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years operating Kubernetes in production.
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex systems from application to infra.
• Public cloud experience with AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private cloud environments.
• Work with observability tooling to ensure actionable alerts with up-to-date runbooks and documentation.
• Manage incidents end-to-end, including incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual effort and improve performance.
• Identify and deliver process improvements for reliability and scale.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.
• Proactively manage capacity to scale the platform with demand.
