Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds, with automation, tooling, and incident management.

You will maintain the Kubernetes platform, work with observability tools, manage incidents end-to-end, onboard new clients, and develop automation to reduce manual work while ensuring scalability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production.
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.
• Confident debugging and troubleshooting complex systems, from app layer to infra.
• Experience with a public cloud provider, preferably Azure or AWS.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private clouds.
• Work with observability tooling to ensure actionable alerts and up-to-date runbooks.
• Manage incidents end-to-end, including incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual effort and improve performance.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.
• Proactively manage capacity so the platform scales with demand.
