AgileEngine is seeking a Software Architect to assess our platform's architecture and define a target-state design for an FDA-regulated SaaS product.
You will shape domain boundaries, design APIs and data models, guide refactoring, and mentor remote engineering teams while maintaining security and regulatory compliance.
This role offers flextime, remote and office options, and the opportunity to work on modern solutions for Fortune 500 brands.
Formación
- Lead Software Architect or equivalent senior technical leader experience.
- Strong fundamentals in SOLID and GRASP; modern architecture patterns.
Responsabilidades
- Assess current system architecture, data flows, and technical debt to enable scalable, compliant growth.
- Define target-state architecture with bounded contexts aligned to DDD and clean architecture; design data extraction pipelines.
- Develop denormalized storage strategy prioritizing read performance while analyzing trade-offs.
- Lead phased modernization with backward compatibility; remove duplicate data and redundant extraction logic.
- Establish engineering standards, coding guidelines, and architectural documentation for long-term maintenance.
- Improve CI/CD, testing, and release processes; mentor remote engineers.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer through design reviews and thorough documentation.
