Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience administering and operating Snowflake in enterprise environments.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture: Virtual Warehouses, Storage & Compute, Security & RBAC, Data Sharing, Streams & Tasks, Snowpipe.
• Experience implementing Snowflake security and governance controls; Snowflake certification is desirable.
• Strong Python, SQL development skills and automation experience; familiarity with IaC and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer, operate, and improve the enterprise Snowflake platform and its automations.
• Manage Snowflake security, roles, access controls, authentication, and governance.
• Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
• Support platform scalability, reliability, and operational excellence across global environments.
• Design and implement automation for provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and operations.
• Troubleshoot Snowflake incidents and performance issues.
• Collaborate with data engineering to optimize workloads and data pipelines.
• Support CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code for deployment and management.
• Contribute to architecture, roadmaps, and best practices for Snowflake and AWS.
• Implement observability, monitoring, alerting, and dashboards.
• Support event-driven and data integration patterns for scalable data movement.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and standards.
