Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. This hybrid role centers on reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities.
You will build cloud infrastructure (AWS-first), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling to empower data teams to deliver high-quality data products quickly. You’ll work with AWS Glue, Athena, and S3, driving security, scalability, and strong developer experience as part of a global engineering
Competenze
- 5+ years in DevOps/platform/SRE with at least 2 years in data engineering.
- Deep expertise with AWS core services (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
- Hands-on experience with AWS data services: Glue, Athena, S3 lifecycle, encryption.
Mansioni
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data infra and pipelines.
- Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform / CDK).
- Own observability stack: metrics, logs, alerts; ensure SLA and fast incident response.
- Develop DataOps self-service tooling and reusable pipeline templates.
