Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a QA Engineer to join a scrum team, focusing on test design, execution, and defect management within Salesforce environments. You will align QA activities with the defined strategy and collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Managers, and developers to ensure quality across releases.

You will contribute to test planning, automation, data management, and risk mitigation in an agile setting, supporting continuous improvement and high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of QA experience.
• Experience testing within Salesforce (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud).
• Experience in agile environments and QA methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and proactive issue resolution.
• Experience in E2E QA landscape and test data/environment management is a plus.
• Experience with automated testing tools/frameworks is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with development teams to align QA objectives with project requirements.
• Plan tests, write test cases, and ensure traceability to requirements.
• Execute tests: smoke, regression, end-to-end; support UAT.
• Identify and scope test automation opportunities; build/run scripts.
• Manage defects: triage, reproduce, retest, and close.
• Prepare test data and coordinate test environments with release teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Managers, and Architects to uphold QA practices.
• Provide project quality reports to leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify risks/dependencies and escalate for resolution.
• Support QA leadership on process improvements and innovation.
