Job summary

AgileEngine in Rosario, Argentina is seeking a Software Quality Assurance professional with 3+ years of QA and automated testing experience. You will build regression automation scripts, perform manual testing, and collaborate with product teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.

Required skills include Gherkin for BDD, strong communication, and experience with automation frameworks; familiarity with prompt engineering and harness engineering is a plus.

• Identify and escalate risks to quality.

• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimation to improve planning.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repos and run custom scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

MUST HAVES

• Experience with Ruby on Rails and backend development.
• Understanding of quality management systems and quality control processes.
• Background in data-based testing and/or security-based testing.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• - Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.

• - Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types to ensure proper behavior of software.
• - Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• - Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
• - Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or the process.
• - Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles.
• - Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in the testing strategy.
• - Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning.
