Job summary

Knwn Local is seeking a Senior Video Editor to work remotely with North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality output for YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of professional editing experience, advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro (with After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve), and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Experience in an agency, media production, or marketing team.
• Fluent English communication skills and ability to collaborate with U.S.-based teams.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns, ensuring strong storytelling and brand consistency.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to improve engagement (text overlays, transitions, logo animations).
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets with structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before final delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to improve video effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets accounting for review steps.
