Job summary

Knwn Local seeks a Senior Video Editor to craft and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns for North American universities. You will collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to tailor content for YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns.

Role is fully remote with Latin American expansion involvement; 3+ years of agency/marketing editing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro; knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling with pacing and audience engagement.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).
• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and formatting for social media, web, and broadcast.
• Fluent English communication; ability to work with U.S.-based teams.
• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV).

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns.
• Enhance video quality through color, sound design, and transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to boost engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and assets with structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on feedback before delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets.
