New Paradigm Venture is seeking a Senior Video Editor to work remotely with North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for advertising, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality content tailored for platforms like YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns.

This role supports the agency’s expansion into Latin America, shaping video content strategies and ensuring seamless execution

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in an agency, media production, or marketing setting.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns with strong storytelling and brand consistency.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations (text overlays, transitions, logo animations).
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets, ensuring structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on feedback before final delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to improve video effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets, accounting for internal and client review steps.
