Job summary

New Paradigm Venture is seeking a Senior Video Editor for a fully remote role serving North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for advertising, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality content for YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns.

You’ll help shape video strategies as the agency expands into Latin America.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Agency, media production, or marketing team background preferred.
• Advanced skills in Premiere Pro; knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Fluent English communication and ability to work with U.S.-based teams.
• Experience editing ads for education or corporate marketing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube and digital campaigns.
• Enhance video quality with color, sound design, transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and assets with structured workflows.
• Review edits and refine content based on feedback.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets.
