Job summary

Join Devsu as a forward-deployed AI engineer within a lean, expert AI team. You will partner with portfolio companies to design, build, and hand off high-impact AI solutions at pace, embedding with credibility and full access to data and infrastructure.

You’ll define secure architectures, develop production-ready AI workflows, and establish evaluation and observability standards to ensure durable, scalable results across environments in the U.S. and Latin America.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development with full-stack focus.
• Hands-on production AI/ML experience, including generative AI or agentic AI.
• Deep fluency in agentic tooling and architecture patterns.
• Strong grasp of modern GenAI patterns and tool calling.
• Proficient Python skills and modern AI frameworks.
• Working knowledge of cloud AI/ML platforms and data ecosystems.
• Experience on Agile/Scrum teams and large complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess AI feasibility during diligence and set technical direction.
• Design and build LLM workflows against enterprise data.
• Define secure, scalable reference architectures across cloud services.
• Establish evaluation, observability standards, and regression testing.
• Build human-in-the-loop controls and secure defaults.
• Develop prototypes and transfer knowledge to portco teams.
• Evaluate emerging models and tooling for practical adoption.
