Pearster is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a project for an international client. The role focuses on general ledger management, journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly/annual closings in a fully remote LATAM setup.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in accounting, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite. English proficiency and US GAAP/IFRS knowledge are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in general ledger, financial reporting, and closing processes.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and reporting standards.
• Experience with external auditors and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; automation/AI tools desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Manage general ledger accounting activities and ensure accurate financial records.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor balance sheet accounts.
• Review AP/AR transactions for accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal policies.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and reports.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and collaborate to improve processes.
