PowDevs in Buenos Aires is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our Agile software team building the payments platform. You will design and execute manual tests across GUI, API, and backend/database layers, break down requirements into test cases, and report defects clearly to drive quality.

As part of a small, collaborative group, you’ll work with developers, SDETs, and architects, leverage AWS and AI-assisted testing tools, and contribute to test strategy and coverage in a

• Strong QA fundamentals including test planning, traceability, and risk-based testing.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing beyond GUI, including API and database testing.
• Experience troubleshooting applications using Splunk or similar logging/monitoring tools.
• Experience working with AWS or other cloud environments.
• Clear defect reporting with reproducible steps and root-cause investigation.
• Experience with GitHub or similar source-control tools.
• Effective written communication and collaboration across QA, development, and architecture teams.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in Agile environments.
• Experience using AI tools to support testing, troubleshooting, or QA workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze business requirements and create comprehensive test cases, plans, and suites.
• Perform testing across GUI, API, and backend/database layers and evaluate product readiness for production.
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects using logs, Splunk, databases, and other diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with developers, SDETs, and Architects to prioritize testing and resolve issues efficiently.
• Support quality metrics and continuously improve testing practices and coverage.
• Work across cloud environments, particularly AWS, and adapt quickly as products evolve.
• Leverage AI tools to improve testing and troubleshooting workflows.
