QualityAI is seeking a Sr. Manual QA Engineer (Data‑Focused) to join our Argentina-based remote team. The role emphasizes data validation, test coverage accuracy, and QA across data-centric workflows within the client’s application ecosystem.

You will perform manual testing of features and data flows, develop test cases, validate data with SQL, and document defects in ADO, ensuring end-to-end data integrity and regression coverage. Collaboration with developers and product owners is essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a Manual QA Tester or similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL, with ability to write, execute, and interpret queries for data validation.
• Solid analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail, especially in data driven scenarios.
• Ability to quickly learn new applications, data models, and business processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with ADO Test Plans and defect tracking systems.

Responsabilidades

• Perform manual testing of application features, workflows, and data flows to identify defects, inconsistencies, and gaps.
• Develop and execute test cases and test scripts aligned to User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
• Validate data accuracy using SQL queries, ensuring correct transformations, mappings, and end to end data integrity.
• Document defects clearly in ADO and retest fixes to confirm resolution.
• Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and product owners to clarify requirements and ensure alignment on expected data behavior.
• Conduct regression testing to confirm new changes do not impact existing functionality or data pipelines.
• Create and maintain test documentation (test plans, test scripts, test results).
• Ramp up quickly on business domain knowledge and data structures used within the application.
• Provide input to improve testing processes, especially around data validation, test coverage, and edge case identification.
• Identify and test edge cases, including data anomalies, boundary conditions, and scenarios not explicitly captured in acceptance criteria.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups).
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders to clarify requirements, validate assumptions, and ensure test cases align with business and data expectations.
