Job summary

Caylent seeks a Senior QA/Test Engineer specializing in Amazon Connect and CCaaS to design and execute test strategies. You will validate contact flows, IVR, AI agent behavior, and migrations while building automated and manual test suites across UI, API, and serverless backends.

You will lead UAT sessions, monitor quality metrics, and mentor junior engineers, ensuring production readiness and robust test assets within Caylent's remote, global team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of QA/test engineering experience, including 3+ years testing contact center, CCaaS, or IVR/voice platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect or a comparable CCaaS platform: contact flows, routing, Cases/Tasks, and reporting.
• Proficiency with automated testing frameworks (Playwright E2E and API tests, Cypress, Selenium).
• Experience testing serverless/event-driven AWS architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions).
• Working knowledge of conversational AI / voice testing considerations: intent accuracy, latency, fallback behavior.
• Strong defect documentation and triage skills; comfortable running UAT sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test strategies for Amazon Connect implementations covering contact flows, routing, IVR/self-service, and Case/Tasks workflows.
• Build test plans validating AI agent behavior: intent recognition, escalation paths, and multilingual/SSML interactions.
• Validate migrations and data flows through parallel-run testing and verification.
• Define and track quality metrics and report release readiness to stakeholders.
• Hands-on testing across web apps and automation suites.
