Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to build and maintain desktop and web test automation, while performing manual testing to ensure quality across features. You will integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, and collaborate with product teams to improve testability and acceptance criteria.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, AI tool usage in QA, and a holistic quality mindset within a remote-friendly, fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software quality assurance experience.
• 3+ years of automated testing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience writing and working with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic quality engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts supporting app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy against criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance tests and more.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fail conditions and link to bugs.
• Identify and elevate risks to product quality.
• Collaborate with product team for SDLC quality throughout releases.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback.
• Participate in refinement and estimations for planning.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repos and scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
