AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation and manual testing skills to ensure software quality across projects for Fortune 500 brands.

You will build regression automation, run smoke/regression/integration tests, document results, collaborate with product and development teams, and contribute to SDLC quality. This role offers remote-friendly and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience writing and working with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bugs.
• Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or process.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and release cycles.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort for planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repos, run scripts, and foster automated QA practices.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
