Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an automation QA engineer to strengthen our software quality practices. You will own regression automation, perform manual validation, and help ensure robust product quality across desktop and mobile platforms.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, contribute to testing strategy, and participate in on-call rotations. Remote-friendly with flexible scheduling and competitive USD-based compensation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years in automated testing.
• Experience with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and link to bugs.
• Identify and elevate risks to quality of the product or process.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality through SDLC and releases.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and effort estimations for planning.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repositories and run custom scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
