Oyster is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to shape the platform between code and production. You will build tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable AWS infrastructure, while emphasizing reliability, observability, and secure operations.

The role supports a remote-first, globally distributed team and encourages AI-powered automation to boost productivity. You will work with application, security, and infrastructure squads to reduce toil and create a self-service experience for internal

Formación

• 5+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or similar production engineering role.
• Strong software development experience with automation, tooling, and platform abstractions.
• Proven experience designing and operating production systems on AWS.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, Terraform or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, and production debugging (Datadog, Sentry, etc.).
• Strong understanding of reliability, incident response, and operational best practices.
• A platform mindset focusing on reducing cognitive load for internal engineering teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in remote, asynchronous environments.

• Explore and apply AI to improve developer productivity and operational workflows.
• Turn recurring pain points into scalable platform solutions for internal teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, reliable software.
