Command|Link is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own large systems within its platform used by Fortune 1000 companies. You’ll work primarily in Go and Python across services, APIs, and data pipelines related to telemetry, SD-WAN, SASE, and security infrastructure.

This senior IC role emphasizes ownership, long-term health of platform components, and collaboration across teams. Mentorship and design leadership are core parts of the job, not side projects.

Formación

• Significant professional experience building and operating production backend systems.
• Deep working knowledge of Go and Python.
• Experience owning systems at scale including monitoring, incident response, and post-mortems.
• Experience designing distributed systems and APIs.
• Mentoring and design leadership experience.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Own large components, services, or projects end to end, coordinating across teams.
• Design solutions with high availability and long-term maintainability.
• Build backend services in Go and tooling in Python, including APIs and data pipelines.
• Lead production issue responses, post-mortems, and long-term fixes.
• Take on greenfield work and help decide MVPs and foundations.
• Provide technical direction and maintain focus on practicality over over-engineering.
• Mentor engineers, review code, and help grow the team.
• Improve engineering productivity with better tooling, testing, and deployments.
• Contribute to team goals and hiring efforts.
• Take on additional responsibilities to support success.
