AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid growth. You will manage cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, work with service mesh technologies, and contribute to AI-native tooling and distributed systems.

The role requires 4+ years in server development (Python/TypeScript), 3+ years API design (REST/gRPC), 2+ years AWS/Kubernetes, and 6+ months experience with LLMs and AI tooling.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 3+ years of API design and development (REST/gRPC).
• 2+ years of AWS and Kubernetes experience with Service Mesh tech.
• 2+ years building advanced architectural components (service registry, streaming, caching, polyglot persistence).
• 6+ months of experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code/Claude Cowork.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services to support growth.
• Measure, monitor, and optimize system performance; identify bottlenecks.
• Manage cloud resources and service boundaries for security and reliability.
• Implement best practices and tools to improve development efficiency.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to leadership.
