Command|Link is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer for Platform Engineering to own deep technical decisions across a distributed Go-based platform. You will drive decomposition of a PHP monolith into microservices, shape data pipelines, and solidify observability across globally scaled services.

You will mentor engineers, participate in on‑call rotations, and influence architecture while partnering with product and security teams.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with backend and distributed systems focus.
• Strong Go expertise with idiomatic patterns and concurrency.
• Experience decomposing monoliths and migrating to microservices.
• Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and Terraform for IaC.
• Familiarity with observability, metrics, and performance tuning.

Responsabilidades

• Lead decomposition of PHP monoliths into Go microservices with clear boundaries and data contracts.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Go services and API gateways with proper auth boundaries.
• Lead architecture discussions balancing speed and maintainability.
• Evolve distributed data infra: Kafka, Temporal, OpenSearch, Memgraph.
• Integrate with third‑party APIs, telemetry, and network infrastructure.
• Support cloud infrastructure with Terraform and enforce security standards.
• Ensure SLAs, SLOs, and CI/CD quality gates.
