GoFundMe is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in Buenos Aires to design and deploy ML systems powering search, recommendations, and personalization. You will build scalable data pipelines, taxonomies, and graph-based features while working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

The role emphasizes production ML, reliability, and collaboration with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders.

Formación

• 4+ years hands-on experience in ML/ML engineering with production deployment.
• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) preferred.
• Experience with catalogs, taxonomies, embeddings, and semantic representations.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement AI/ML systems across personalization, recommendations, content understanding, fraud detection, and next-best-action services.
• Develop taxonomy and ontology structures for discovery, personalization, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with product and platform stakeholders to improve catalogs and entity understanding.
• Apply graph-based techniques to enhance retrieval, recommendations, and content understanding.
• Develop and deploy robust, scalable ML services with strong observability and low latency.
• Lead initiatives to optimize ML system performance using offline and online metrics.
