South32 is seeking a Senior Mine Services Engineer to lead underground infrastructure at the Hermosa Project site, near Patagonia, Arizona. You’ll oversee pastefill, electrical distribution, and capital projects while collaborating with operations, planning, and contractors to ensure safety and reliability.

With 7+ years of underground mining experience and strong leadership, you will drive design reviews, standards, and continuous improvement across Technical Services.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of underground mining experience with mine infrastructure and capital projects.
• Proficiency in Deswik, Backfill Pro, and Microsoft Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Lead pastefill system design, delivery, and upgrades.
• Oversee underground electrical distribution and utility infrastructure.
• Manage infrastructure projects from concept through commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate with operations, planning, and external contractors for safe, reliable systems.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards, drawings, and procedures.
