GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Specialist Java Developer (with AWS experience) in Argentina - Buenos Aires. You will join Roku APPS team, building large-scale backend services and microservices with Java, Docker, and Kubernetes.

The role emphasizes system architecture, cloud-first design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 6–8+ years of distributed systems experience, strong Java skills, and hands-on AWS experience.

Formación

• 6 to 8+ years of experience building large scale distributed systems.
• 5+ years of hands-on Java experience.
• 4+ years working with cloud based platforms and infrastructure.
• RESTful microservices with Java and Docker on Kubernetes/Amazon.
• Relational DBs (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB).
• Protobuf, WebSockets, JSON; AWS ALB/ECS/EC2/Route 53 familiarity.
• CAP theorem awareness and ability to lead backend design discussions.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in CS/Engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Build extremely large-scale platform products and services used by millions of devices.
• Collaborate with Product/Design to take concepts to production deployment.
• Lead evaluations of new technologies and promote best practices across the dev lifecycle.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
• Participate in Agile development: design, coding, testing, deployment, maintenance.
