dLocal is seeking a Staff Engineer for the Payments Performance team to design and evolve systems that optimize payment routing, fraud prevention, and anomaly detection. You will shape architecture, scale real-time decisioning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet current and future platform needs.

You will lead Java-based projects, drive performance improvements, and implement robust, high-quality software using Spring, Hibernate, and event-driven patterns within a global fintech

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science.
• 7+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong Java application development and software architecture knowledge.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate).
• Experience with event-driven design and scalable, high-performance systems.
• Proficient in English, verbal and written.
• Familiarity with production telemetry and monitoring tools.

• Collaborate with technology and product teams to translate goals into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications and systems.
• Lead technical architecture and design for Java projects for scalability and performance.
• Create scalable architectures for Java applications with future growth in mind.

• Conduct validation and performance tests; ensure system resilience.
• Perform code reviews and maintain coding standards.
