Dlocal Corp is seeking a Senior Java Technical Referent to raise the engineering bar and deliver scalable backend services for finance core systems. You will drive automation and reduce manual reviews while maintaining high reliability and auditability.

You will mentor peers, define standards, and collaborate with leaders to improve architecture and workflows. This high‑autonomy role requires strong English and presence in or around Buenos Aires or Montevideo.

Formación

• 7+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Experience with microservice architectures.
• Strong OO analysis and design using design patterns.
• Good knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with AWS (preferred) or GCP.
• Able to adapt to Python codebases quickly.
• Strong focus on financial/reconciliation logic and data quality.
• Ownership and proactivity with end-to-end responsibility.
• Clear, concise communication with stakeholders.
• Automation mindset with tests, tooling, and workflows.
• Ability to mentor others and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and delivery of reliable Java microservices for finance core.
• Define and enforce engineering standards as technical bar-raiser.
• Audit, maintain, and improve existing repositories.
• Drive automation to reduce manual reviews and errors in workflows.
• Mentor teammates via code/design reviews and knowledge sharing.
