OKTO is expanding its engineering team and seeks a Java Middleware Engineer to join our remote Argentina-based squad. You will contribute to scalable fintech platforms, microservices, and secure payment workflows, collaborating with English- and Spanish-speaking colleagues.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in middleware Java, Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, and a passion for clean code, testing, and Agile practices.

Formación

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of middleware application development using Java (at least 1 year with Java 11).
• Experience fintech/payments domain.
• Strong English and Spanish communication.
• Experience with Java 11+ microservices with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Familiarity with Event-Driven patterns.
• Git versioning basics.

Responsabilidades

• Develop new product functionality from requirements.
• Write performance-optimized, well-tested code.
• Support SIT, UAT, and production environments.
• Apply modern Agile methodologies.
